5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

This cake is so easy to make. You might want to make it with your children.
5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT!(this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!
Add the dry ingredients, flour, sugar, and cocoa.
Add the egg milk and oil.
Add the chocolate chips. Yummy!
Microwave for 3 minutes.
This is how it looks in the mug. I used a large mug so it didn't rise over the top.
This is how it looks. So yummy and ready for Christmas dinner or any happy occasion.

Poor Maggie

Friday was an ordeal for Maggie & me. Dad was giving the girls their favorite treat and Maggie jumped on the bed and got her foot caught between the mattress and the foot board and she cried. We found out the she couldn't walk on her foot. So
I was washing dishes and heard Maggie yelping so then I went in Jerry's bedroom then I felt sick. Mom thought I was going to throw up and told me to go the bathroom and sit on the edge of the bathtub by the toilet and my mom went to go and get a washcloth to put on my forehead and while she was gone she heard a thump and found out that I had fainted and fallen into the bathtub. Sometimes I get these fainting spells over a traumatic event. Mom called dad to lift me up out of the bathtub. I came to then was very white. Mom took Maggie to the doctor and she has a very sprained foot and thank goodness it wasn't broken. The picture shows Maggie and me resting after our ordeal.

4TH OF JULY

My parents & I got to go up to Lakeside/Pinetop because my mom's cousin and his wife Julie have a log cabin house there. We toured around the area. I saw a neat golf course, and different houses in the pines. Jimmy & Julie fixed us a nice barbeque dinner. In the evening we played Uno and Jimmy & Julie's son-in-law, Seth, won. And that was fun playing Uno with Alicia, Jimmy & Julie's daughter.
So we will gang up on Seth next time. It started raining about 3:15 pm. We made homemade ice cream. We talked and got caught up with each other. I got to sleep in Julie's sewing room and even had the door opened at night. I even got to see another cousin, Gary & Kathy's, house who lives by Jimmy & Julie. We left the dogs at home. We came home on Saturday morning.

About Maggie

Maggie likes to play with her toys, especially one that my mom gave her for Christmas. It's green and looks like a bone and so she squeeks it alot. Sometimes Maggie will stretch and then howls. She even lays flat on her tummy and then she howls. She also likes to run through the house. If Maggie is on the chair, she will jump off of the arm rest and my mom calls her Miss Billy Goat. When I turn on the water from the spout of the tub she will go in the tub and start dringing the water. On Memorial Day she saw a lizard and caught it in her mouth in my moms backyard. She also likes to chase after birds.

Maggie

This is Maggie when I got her for my birthday. She is 7 weeks old and so tiny.

Things that are Important to Me

I asked my Mom what I could put on my new blog and she suggested that I tell about the things that are really important to me. So I decided to write about these things.

My dog, Maggie, is especially special to me to. I got her for my birthday on January 3, 2006.
